For a long time, this sign was affixed to the front wall of the future Ignite Coffee Company space in downtown Oceanside.
Behind the scenes, Tyler was optimistic that the shop's grand opening was just around the corner.
But construction ran long. Permits needed to be attained. Supply chains were (still are) interrupted. June 2022 became Halloween became, hopefully before New Year's.
It took longer than anticipated, but on January 11th, 2023, Ignite Coffee Company opened its doors with coffee and locally-made donuts. After a year worth of work, the work of serving coffee can finally begin.
Tyler relied on support from his friends and family and on his faith to persevere even when the future of his cafe was uncertain.
